DOE - Deniable Operations ExecutiveThe team was formed as just an idea back in 2002 when Andy Chandler (Scorpion Actual) and Dave Turner (Scorpion One) had only been playing a short time and had fallen in love with the sport.The initial idea was to form a team of airsofters who also quite liked the idea of role playing a little, they wanted to form a team with a command structure and to allow players who joined the ability to emulate the forces they most wanted to, so it was decided that DOE would be a PMC style organisation who recruited soldiers from different backgrounds.The team grew in size dramatically over the following years as anyone who's ever tried to build a larger team will know, it rarely works as smoothly as you'd like it to. We to found this and so around 2005/ 2006 we culled the team numbers back dramatically and established a core group of players. We also moved from a mismatch group of uniforms and styles to a US desert or woodland BDU with tan rigs and boots loadout, in 2009 we changed again to emulate the US Rangers and have done so in as exact a detail as we can. (More information on kit can be found in the armoury section) This group is now committed and performs well together and you can find out more about them individually on the members page.We emulate the US Rangers and any other forces with the utmost respect.

Preferred Weapons and Equipment of DOERifles / DMR'sSince Andy and Dave started out almost 10 years ago with off the shelf AEG's and pistols, the team now wields on the battlefield:- Systema PTW M4A1's with CQB & Carbine Uppers swappable as airsoft sites requires- Systema PTW M16A3 custom built DMR- Various carbine / CQB AEG's- WE GBB M4A1Support WeaponIn fitting with our US Ranger loadout at the end of 2010 we added a G&P full metal Mk46 to the armoury. So 2,500rd electric fed fun is joining us on the battlefield this year.PistolsWe use a range of pistols in DOE including:- 1911- P226- M9/92F- USP 45RigsFollowing our preference for US Ranger loadouts and real equipment we use- Eagle Industries Ranger Green RRV- Pantac Ranger Green RRVHelmets / Gloves / Knee Pads / BootsThe team wear:- Mich 2000 helmets (real and copy), with: - Norotos NVG Mounts - Petzl Lights - IR Distress Beacons- Oakley assault gloves- Alta knee pads- Oakley assault bootsCommsThe team use Motorola GP340's on a privately owned frequencies and a variety of headsets including:- Sordins- Devgru

Andy Chandler - callsign: Scorpion Zero Six AKA: Scorpion ActualAndy has been airsofting since 2002 and is the leader of DOE. He and Dave formed DOE together but decided Andy would lead it due to his real military experience. Andy uses: A Systema PTW M4A1 MAX 2008 and a 1911
DaveTurner 2ic - callsign: Scorpion One Zero AKA: DowntownDave has also been airsofting since 2002 and is the 2ic of the team, he is the teams designated marksman and when not wielding his evil DMR is a fire team leader.Dave uses: A Systema PTW M4A1 MAX 2008, a Systema PTW M16A3 DMR, an M3 Super90, a 1911 and a Sig P226
Sam Forrest - callsign: Scorpion Two Zero AKA: PricecheckSam joined DOE in 2005 when he and Dave were working together and found out about airsoft. Sam went out and bought a complete load out without having ever been and soon became a regular feature of the team. Sam also won the DOE Operator of the year 2010 award.Sam uses: A Systema PTW M4A1, a USP45
Andy Meader - callsign: Scorpion One-One AKA: ChainsawNicknamed chainsaw, this was particularly fitting in the early days as Andy was hard to control and was often running amok, however in recent years his skills and dicipline have increased and he is a highly valued part of the squad.Andy uses: G&P custom M4A1
Rhys Jenkins - callsign: Scorpion Two-One AKA: SlebogRhys joined the team in 2006 and is the only surviving member of the mass cull, a more hard working airsofter a team could not ask for. Rhys regularly drives friom Wales to attend events in southern England.Rhys uses: VFC L119A1, VFC SCAR-H, AGM M4 CQB, CA SA58, CA M24, CAW HK69A1, KJ Works USP Tactical

Jessica Dodd - callsign: Scorpion Two Two AKA: BansheeJess joined DOE in 2010 and is our resident MP. Jess likes the rest of DOE to know what she is thinking and this has given rise to her nickname of Banshee! Jess uses: A custom G&P M4 Cqb setup
Greg Jones - callsign: Scorpion One TwoGreg used to be an extremely occassional fixture at games during the last few years but in 2010 he attended a few events as part of the team and has now earnt his permenant place getting badged at The Mall in late 2010. Greg jumped at the chance to get his Ranger loadout and now almost has all of it.Greg uses: A custom G&P, D-boys based M4A1
Andrew Sawyers - callsign: Scorpion Two ThreeAndy has similarly to greg been an on / off part of the team for over a year but is now officially affilated to us, he has a few more games to play and he will be a fully badged member of the team, Sawyers is our teams major geardo.Andrew uses: A Systema PTW M4A1 Max 2007, WETTI AWS GBBR M4A1 and an MEU-SOC 1911
